We aim to increase arts participation for everyone in Swale and Medway by
supporting the growth of creativity, invention and imagination.

Ideas Test for young people is open to the 14 to 19 age range, and up to 25 (Special Education Needs) in Swale and Medway.

With up to £2000 available under the Small Experiment strand of Ideas Test funding, this is an opportunity for young people to turn an idea into an experiment and then turn that experiment into a full blown project. That creative idea you’ve been mulling over and would like to try out? Now’s your chance to go for it! It can be any art form, from drama to music, photography to dance – or something no-one else has thought of!

We joined in the national Takeover Day in November last year, hosting a team building day and working through some of the ideas our youth group would like to try out. It was a chance to meet other young people and share ideas and was much enjoyed by all: “…. had a great day, thanks for having us”…..”that was so much fun”…..”it all sounds very exciting”….”I enjoyed meeting everyone…”

The youth project is in partnership with the Royal Opera House Bridge, who recently held ‘Bridgefest’, an Ambassador training day, which you can read all about here, along with listening to the podcasts.
